The Madera County Treasurer-Tax Collector is now offering an E-Tax Billing service for annual Secured property taxes. You will now be able to receive your property tax bill and payment reminders by e-mail.

Once you subscribe, you will automatically receive an e-mail with a link to a copy of your property tax bill once a year, receive reminder notifications of tax delinquent dates, and have the ability to login and download a copy of your bill at any time. We will continue to send paper bills to taxpayers who sign up for the service for the next two billing cycles.

At this time, this service is only available for annual Secured property tax bills.

Failure to receive an e-mail reminder or a tax bill does not relieve liability to pay or excuse any penalties incurred.

1. If you already have an account, you will be directed to the login screen. If you are signing up for the first time follow the instructions below:

 

 2. Fill out the information on the next page.

 3. You will receive the following message.

Check the e-mail account you used to sign up, click the link, and enter your password to verify the account.

4. Click on the My Bills button to add an assessment for E-Tax Billing.

 5. To sign up for a bill, you will need the Assessment from the physical bill.

The ASMT number is located in the first box.

After entering the information, click add. This will add the Assessment to your account.

6. After bills are added to your account, you can download them, have them e-mailed to yourself, or pay them any time.  You will also receive automatic reminder e-mails as the delinquent dates approach.
