Elder Orphans is a telephonic messaging service which stores subscriber's name, telephone number, address, emergency contact information, and call times. The program was created by the Madera County Sheriff's Office to meet the needs of Madera County's Senior Citizens who live alone.

Elder Orphans is a free house check calling program for people who want daily contact by receiving a pre-recorded message on their home phone. You select when you want us to call you and how often.

When you receive the pre-recorded message you will be instructed to touch the #1 button on your phone to indicate you are fine.

Elder Orphans is only available to Madera County residents. Our mission is to provide peace of mind for you, your family, neighbors and friends.

Registration of Phone Numbers

The Elder Orphans Senior Calling Service stores phone numbers for those who wish to receive pre-recorded house checks. In order for you to receive your daily message you MUST register with Elder Orphans. You will be required to provide your phone number, home address, scheduled calling times, and names of personal contacts along with their telephone numbers. All information you provide will be kept strictly confidential.
