The Civil Service Commission consists of five (5) members appointed by the Board of Supervisors to enforce and interpret the Civil Service Rules, which govern the recruitment, examination, and placement of classified County employees.

Commission Meetings
The Commission ordinarily meets for regular business matters at 5:30 pm on the third Tuesday of each month, with special meetings occurring as scheduled. All meetings are held at the Madera County Government Center (200 W 4th St, Madera, CA 93637) and via Zoom.
