Your child support payment is due on the 1st of every month and should be made no later than the 20th of each month to allow processing time. 

There are a number of options to make a payment:

In Office

Cash and credit/debit card payments are accepted at the automated kiosk located in the Madera County Child Support Office located at 120 N. Lake St., Madera, CA 93638. The office is open Monday through Friday, 8:00am until 5:00pm. Credit and debit cards processed through an automated payment kiosk will charge a 2.2% service fee on every transaction. 

By phone

MasterCard, Discover, or Visa electronic payments are accepted. Please call the California State Disbursement Unit (SDU) at (866) 901-3212, option 1.

  Online

MasterCard, Discover, or Visa payments are also accepted by accessing the SDU website . Under the Quick Links heading, select ‘Make a Payment,’ then click on ‘Parent Paying Support.’ A transaction fee of 1.9% will apply.

Expert Pay

If you want to directly debit your bank account, your payment must be processed through our fraud protection portal. You will be taken to www.expertpay.com. 

PayNearMe

Cash payments are accepted at 7-Eleven, Family Dollar, CVS Pharmacies (except inside Target), and ACE Cash Express stores. Get a PayNearMe barcode at www.PayNearMe.com/California or by contacting your local child support agency. PayNearMe charges a $1.99 convenience fee and guarantees payments.

MoneyGram

Find a location at MoneyGram Locations or call 1-800-926-9400. To make a payment, you will need your Participant ID. MoneyGram charges a $1.99 fee.

PayPal

Methods of payment accepted by PayPal: PayPal balance, PayPal branded debit and credit cards, bank account debit card, and credit card (Visa, MasterCard, American Express or Discover). There is a 2.49% ($3.95 minimum) service fee on every transaction.

By Mail

If your case is managed by Child Support Services, you can mail a check or money order to:  CA SDU, PO Box, 989067, West Sacramento, CA 95798-9067
