Severe Symptoms
The Centers for Disease Control (CDC) recommends seeking medical attention immediately if you experience any of these early warning signs*:
- Trouble breathing
- Persistent pain or pressure in the chest
- New confusion
- Inability to awake or stay awake
- Bluish lips or face
Call 911 if you have a medical emergency: Notify the operator that you have, or think you might have, COVID-19. If possible, put on a cloth face covering before medical help arrives.
*This list is not all inclusive. Please consult your medical provider for any other symptoms that are severe or concerning to you.
COVID Symptoms
If you are feeling sick or think you have been exposed to someone who has covid, check with your doctor to see if covid testing is needed. Covid symptoms include:
- Fever or chills
- Cough
- Shortness of breath or difficulty breathing
- Fatigue
- Muscle or body aches
- Headache
- New loss of taste or smell
- Sore throat
- Congestion or runny nose
- Nausea or vomiting
- Diarrhea
